8/22 Show: New music this week from Milch of Source! Milch of Source (Ryoma Maeda) is an electronic musician and producer who is releasing a series of four seasonal "chillout" EPs this year. The third in this series, Seasons 1/4(for summer's chillout), was released this week and is available through iTunes.

8/8: lots of music! Hi all! I'm filling in for the free form today playing a mix of soundtracks and music from Japan and England and more from 4pm to 6pm!

Then on NMC this week I've got music for your from Songs of Twilight, a collection out on the Japanese label p*dis that features artists such as Serph, Miaou, and Matryoshka. To quote the description: "It expresses the fragile brightness and golden slumber of a twilight moment and helps you have a sweet relaxing time." This set will air at 7:30pm.

7/25 show: This week I have new music for you from the latest addition to the Noble Label, Serph. Serph is a Tokyoite in his 20s and Vent is his second album. Noble is has released several artists familar to listeners of the show, such as world's end girlfriend, tenniscoats, Piana, and Kashiwa Daisuke. Serph's set airs at 7:30pm.

7/18 Show: Earlier this week world's end girlfriend announced the formation of his own label Virgin Babylon Records. Tune in tonight to hear song from every band on the label's roster, including a new world's end girlfriend song from his forthcoming album Seven Idiots.

7/11 Show: This week tune in to catch new music by Luminous Orange (official site, myspace). Since 1992, Rie Takeuchi and numerous support musicians have been creating swirling, dreamily intense shoegaze and dreampop. Tonight tune in to hear selections from the band's sixth album Songs of Innocence which was released last month in Japan and is available as an import or through iTunes.

7/4 Show: Last month Osaka duo Afrirampo announced they were breaking up. Since 2002 Oni and Pika toured around the world playing their frantic yet tranquil chaos, including a stop in Atlanta in 2005. I'll be playing a few songs by them in tonight's show, from their U.S. release Kore Ga Mayaku Da and one of their later albums Suuto Breakor.

6/27 Show: Hi everyone! I'll be filling in on the freeform today from 4pm to 6pm playing soundtracks, Ralfe Band, Robots In Disguise, and more! Then on NMC this week I have two new songs by unkie for you. Don't miss it!

6/20 Show: While Yoon was overseas she was kind enough to pick up the soundtrack to Air Doll, a film by Hirokazu Koreeda, and scored by world's end girlfriend. Selections from the soundtrack will air during the 7:30pm set.

June 6th, 6pm to 10pm: Tune in for the NMC 8th Anniversary Show. Yes, 8 years old. It's all so wonderful and overwhelming and I hope you can tune in. xoxo
