Show Notes

pigeondust and We Got It!
This week I featured new music from the Japanese label Yel-owe records, with the collection We Got It!. This is the label's first release in four years and it specializes in Japanese underground hiphop & beats. The average age of the artists on this collection is 19.8, and the label is managed by Rokjoma (pigeondust). You can find We Got It! as well as pigeondust's music through his bandcamp.

Fumio Hayasaka
Fumio Hayasaka was a composer of classical music and film scores. In 1952, Rashomon (trailer) directed by Akira Kurosawa, won an honorary Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film Oscar at the 24th Academy Awards, before the category official existed.
